MANAWATU AIR RACE ENTRY
FIFTH TO COMPLETE JOUENEY
Crossing the finishing line at Melbourne at 9.55 a.m. (New Zealand time) yesterday, the Manawatu ’plane, piloted by Messrs McGregor and Walker, finished fifth of all the entrants in the great race and is expected to be well up in the handicap race honours when these are finally allotted. The airmen, in their small machine, passed through extremely trying conditions, and their achievement is applauded on all sides. Both airmen have shown account of the trip, which, ho gruelling test
