FASCIST HEROES.

CEREMONY IN FLORENCE. Received October 29, 8.5 a.m. FLORENCE, Oct. 29.

Great preparations were made to ensure the safety of Signor Mussolini, who arrived to honour the 37 Fascist “martyrs” who fell in the early Fascist struggles. The streets are hung with black nags inscribed with their names. Thousands watched the processions with their coffins which were carried to the mortuary chapel at the Church of Santa Croce, Florence’s Westminster Abbey. Signor Mussolini stood at the doorway of the chapel leading the Fascist salute. As the coffins arrived the names of the dead were called out.
