OLD-TIME DANCING CHAMPIONSHIP.
The special attraction at the De Luxs dance hall to-morroAv night Avill be the commencement of the old-time dancing championship, Avhich consists of a variety of old-time round dances. The first dance of the series will be decided to-morroAv night, with the Avaltzing competition. Four judges will be placed at different parts of the floor and each will judge the merits of the various couples. Points Avill be aAvarded as folloAV: Footwork 25, deportment 25, rhythm 25, ballroom etiquette 25; maximum 100 The winners of the championship will receive handsome silver cups. Prizes will also be. awarded to the Avinners of each contest. Another attraction at to-morroAV night’s dance Avill be the distribution of 20 ManaAvatu Aero Club art union tickets for Avinners of novelty dances.
