PROGRESS IN TELEVISION.

INQUIRIES AMERICA. (■British Official Wireless.) ' RUGBY, Oct. 25. Lord Selsdon, chairman, and three other members of the special committee set up to inquire into the development of television and to advise the Postmaster-General on the relative merits of various systems, left England yesterday for New York to investigate television methods in the United States. It is expected that the committee will report to the Postmaster-General at about the end of the year.
