DRIFT BY BALLOON.
TRAVELS EIGHTY MILES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 25. A balloon belonging to the Royal Air Force Hying school at Lark Hdl, while taking part in divisional manoeuvres on Salisbury Plain to-day, broke from its mooring cable in a violent gust of wind and drifted 80 miles before the pilot and staff officer on board brought ft safely to earth. Meanwhile it had been chased by an autogiro, an aeroplane, and motor cars.
