POST OFFICE LOBBY.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Having read in the “Standard” a little time back complaints re delayed mails, etc., I would asli for a small space in your columns to refer to the very bad lighting of tlie Post Office box lobby. I have noticed the lighting has been frightfully bad for some time now, but last night it was almost impossible to read by it. 1 was not the only one complaining. Surely, sir, our Post Office warrants a better lighting system than this, and what is more, the public are entitled to it, as you know they do not get the use of the boxes for nothing. V\ by are the Government taking an economical view by installing inferior lighting in our City office P 1 think it is time that something was done, as only recently the lighting of the public office was complained about.—l am, etc., MORELIGHT.
