COLYTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Oct. 25. The funeral of the late Mr. W. G. Pearce, of Colyton, took place on Tuesday, the respect in which he was held being evident by tho number of mourners who composed the funeral. The inter ment took place at the Feilding cemetery. Friends were present from many distant places and the cortege was over a. mile iri length, while beautiful wreaths and other floral tributes loaded the hearse. A short service was held at the house, while the service at the graveside was conducted by Rev. A. N. Scotter, of Palmerston North, and Rev Mr Bayliss, of Ha I com lie. The pall-hearers were Messrs H. Phelps, F. W. Allerby, T. A. Smith, .J. Thurston, A. Funston, H. Shepherd and J. K. Viles.
