CHURCH SERVICES.
Sunday’s services at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Terrace End, will be taken, as advertised, by Mr Williams, of the'Missions to Seamen, Wellington.
A continuation of the convention messages will be the subject of Mr Wesley Richards, pastor of the United Evangelical Church, on Sunday morning, when he will speak on “How to Maintain the Blessing.” This subject is calculated to help to conserve the great blessing received by many, at the- first Palmerston North Keswick convention. “Was Our Lord a Socialist?” will be his unusual subject on Sunday at 7 p.m. The speaker is well qualified to speak on this subject having been a leading Socialist for a number of years. Evangelist Hinrichsen will speak _ on “Follow Me” at the' Church of Christ at 11 a.m. Members are urged to bo present. The special evening themo is, “In The Air,” or “The Great Future Flight.” Crowded houses are the order of the day, and no seats can be reserved. All are welcome.
The subject for the morning service at the Baptist Church will bo “The Blessings of Bereavement.” At the evening service the singing will be led by a choir of 50 voices. A solo, “Tho Stranger of Galilee,” will be sung. Representatives of tho Y.M.C.A. and the Optimists’ Club will attend. The preacher, Padre C. S. Matthews, will speak on “Tho New Birth, Is It Necessary?” The Hospital service will be held at 5.30 p.m. and Sunday schools will be held at Main, Northern and Park Road schools at 2.30 p.m.
