WAIRARAPA SHOW.
FINAL DAY’S' RESULTS. Favoured with two beautiful spring days, the Wairarapa and East Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Sqciety’s annual Show was concluded in brilliant sunshine at Carterton on Thursday. An increase of about £7B was shown in the gate receipts for the two days compared with last year. Among interested visitors to the Show on Thursday were Hon. A. D. McLeod, member for Wairarapa; Mr G. It Sykes, member for Masterton; Mr J.' D. McDougall, M.P., Mr W. Singleton, Director of the Dairy Division, Department of Agriculture, and Messrs D. Collis, president of the Manawatu A. and P. Association, and D. Buchanan, past-president of the (Manawatu Association.
Mr j. J. Bryce, of Feilding, judged the boy and girl riders, also the ponies and harness horses, while Mi - J. A. Gibson, of Ballance, adjudicated in the sheep dog trials. With her pony in the section for 14 hands and not exceeding 14.2 hands, Miss Doris Young (Kairango) secured second place. Her pair of ponies were placed third in their class.
