STREET ACCIDENTS.

MOTOR DRIVER INJURED. Two motor vehicles, a small car driven by Mr W. J. Varcoe, of Keith Street, and a light truck driven bv Mr Thomas Richards, .of Grey Street, were involved in a collision which occurred at about 8 a.m. to-day at the intersection of Vogel Street and Boundary ROad> , ~ TT When the accident occurred Mr Varcoe was proceeding along Vogel Street into Boundary Boa.d, akm g which the truck was being driven. Mr Varcoe was cut about the face by flying glass, and was conveyed to a doctor by the I ( c ' e Ambulance for attention, after which he was removed to his home. 1 hough his car kept to its wheels, it was badly damaged, the other vehicle escaping lightly. ANOTHER COLLISION.

Shortly after 8 o’clock this morning another collision of a minor nature, occurred, this being at the corner of Roy Street and Stanley Avenue, as the result of which slight damage was caused to one car. Mr R. Zaloum, of Matipo Street, was proceeding along Stanley Avenue towards Roy Street and Mr Chas. Robertson, of Roy Street, down that street to Featherston Street, the cars meeting at the corner. The step and battery box on Mr Robertson s car were damaged. / BOY CYCLIST HURT.

Three or four stitches bad to be inserted in a cut .over the left eye and attention given ,to an injured throat suffered by a boy aged 15, Gordon Lewis, in an accident which occurred at about 6.45 a.m. to-day. He was cycling down Main Street towards the railway station when, just past the entrance to the subway, a collision took place with a stationary motor lorry. After being taken to a doctor for medical attention, he was removed to his home.
