NEW SHIP LAUNCHED.

FOR AUSTRALIAN TRADE. LONDON, Oct. 24. Lady Hore-Ruthven to-day launched the Manoora. Sir Alexander Hore-Ruthven, Gov-ernor-designate of New South Wales, emphasised the value of sentiment in inter-imperial bonds. The motor ship Manoora is being built for the Adelaide Steamship Company for the Australian inter-State passenger service. The new vessel will be of 10,000 tons, and will have accommodation for 400 passengers with elaborate decks, public rooms and appointments.
