PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB. The following finals will be played at Te Matai this week-end: —Club championship: C. Bryan plays R. W. Cumberworth. Junior championship: C. Beatson plays W. Boon. “Pewter Mugs” handicap fou.rball: . R. McMurray and R. Vannini play C. Moody and L. Clausen. “G. and C.” handicap : H. Cook plays L. A. Clausen. Thomson Cup (A grade handicap): H. Cook plays C. Walsh. Ekstedt Medallion (B grade handicap): H. Dickel plays A. J. Berryman. NATHAN CUP. A challenge for the -Nathan Cup has been received from the Titahi Bay Club and a strong team of 10 Wellington golfers is coming to Te Matai this week-end. The match will be played in the afternoon commencing at 1 p.m. The following team has been to represent the local club:—H. Kerr (captain)’, J. Ramsay, A. Yortt, C. Walsh, R. Vanninm, A. V. Pizzey, H. Bennett, C. Voss, J. Coupe, T. B. Arlidge. Emergencies: R. French, W. Reid, R. Brien, H. Cook. Any of these players unable to play in the. afternoon during the week-end are asked to notify the secretary immediately. The closing day for the club’s winter. season has been fixed for Saturday, November 3. The usual mixed foursomes will be played. MANAWATU CLUB. WEEK-END - FIXTURES. At Hokowhitu on Saturday members of the Manawatu Golf Club will play the October bogey handicap, and in conjunction the Barraud Service Cup will be competed for by ex-service members on their bogey results. Starting will be in threes from the Ist . and 11th tees at the times reserved. During the week-end a mixed foursome competition will also be played. NATHAN CUP. This annual competition is for the best nett aggregate in two club qualifying rounds added to the spring tournament qualifying rounds. The best scores for 1934 are as follow
