IN BANKRUPTCY.
Per Press Association. MARTON, Oct. 25. Following the third examination, today, of the affairs of W. J. Farmer, a bankrupt garage proprietor, the case is to be submitted to the Crown solicitor for advice as to whether a public examination should be held. Bankrupt’s replies were considered unsatisfactory and the Official Assignee had to rebuke him, saying, “Don’t shuffle.” The statement of trading accounts for the past six months showed heavy losses for which Farmer could not account. “Can this stuff be kept out of the Press?” he asked. The Assignee: You should have considered the consequences of your action.
