SUPREME COURT.

CLAIM FOR £2300 DAMAGES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Oct. 25. Damages amounting to £2358 18s 9d, £I7OO of which is the amount of the general damages, are claimed in the Supreme Court by Alfred Herbert Williams, a furniture salesman, for injuries and loss allegedly suffered an the result of being struck by a motor car on April 8 near Glenside. Defendant is Stanley Read, of Levin, a dairy farmer. Plaintiff alleges negligence. The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, occupies the Bench and the jury has gone out to inspect the place of the incident. The case is expected to last two days.
