ALL BLACKS' TOUR YIELDS NSW £1446.
The recent visit of the New Zealand Rugby team benefited the finance* of the New South .Wales Union to the extent I, 445 ,' Gross receipts amounted to £4005 Bs, less ground charges, £Bl9 15s 4d which left a net return of £3685 12s Bd. Expenditure was £1985 6s 7d (steamer fares £634 13s 9d, hotel £260 on -, i iul° wan ces £l6l 4s, advertising £204 17s, assembling and disbandment of Australian and New South Wales teams £lßl 4s, outfitting of Australian and New South Wales teams, £BB 7s; expenses of N.S.W.R.U. representative New Zealand manager, and medical officers, transportation of luggage for New Zealand team, entertainments, training, etc., £415 0s 2d). This leaves a credit of £I7OO 6s Id, of which the Victorian Rugby Union receives £265, and the New South Wales Rugby Union £1445. This is exclusive of the Queensland result.
