FOOTFAULT REGULATION. (Times Cables.) LONDON, Aug. 3. After considering a South African proposal to modify the footfault rule, the International Lawn Tennis Federation's committee recommended that an auxiliary line be drawn two feet behind the baseline. The server should stand behind the auxiliary line and keep one foot behind it during delivery. Mr H. A. Sabelli, joint secretary, requested national association to supply observations thereon by December 1. DAVIS CUP CONTEST. SPAIN'S FORFEITURE. Received August 4, 9.25 a.m. BELGRADE, Aug. 3. Owing to an injury sustained by Ma.ier, Spain has forfeited to Yugoslavia in the first qualifying round of the 1935 Davis Cup contest.
