MANY INDIANS DIE.

FROM VILLAGE TO VILLAGE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received August 4, 9.10 a.m. CALCUTTA, Aug. 3. Cholera is taking a great toll of life throughout India, particularly the Central Provinces, where 1500 persons died last week, making 5500 in the past month. Inoculation is being carried on wherever possible. The disease is being carried by people fleeing terror-stricken from one village to another.
