DECLARED TO BE “BLACK.”

WELLINGTON, Aug. 4

The watersiders at Wellington have taken similar action in regard to the American steamer Golden Coast as was taken at Auckland and the vessel has been declared “black.” She was berthed at the Taranaki Street Wharf, where she is guarded by the police, and only those having business on the ship are permitted to go on the wharf. She has 500 tons of cargo for Wellington, also a polled Shorthorn bull, which was transferred to the Janie Seddon this morning and taken to Somes Island.
