BURGLARY IN CITY.

RANGITIKEI STREET PREMISES. ENTERED.

Entry having been gained through a back" window, a safe in the International Harvester Company’s premises in Rangitikei Street was forced open last night and £23 in money and £4O in cheques stolen. The safe was in the office section of the building and it was .opened by sawing off two massive hinges, the lugs of which protruded, with a hacksaw. The police now have the matter in hind.
