HOCKEY TOUR.
AUSTRALIANS’ PLANS. Received Mav 24, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, May 24. The Australian Hockey Association has selected Mr W. Rothwell as manager of the Australian team to tour New Zealand in August and September. The itinerary drawn up by the New Zealand Association has been adopted. It is unlikely that the New Zealand universities’ team will come to Australia this season, as it is felt the expense would be too great to bear on top of the interstate carnival in Adelaide and the tour of New Zealand.
