A good demand lor butter is being exercised on the London market at the present time. The following are the ruling prices, the last cabled quotations being given in parentheses : Danish, 84s to 86s (80s). Choicest salted, New Zealand, 75s to 76s (73s to 745); Australian, 74s (725); Unsalted, New Zealand, 76s to 77s (73s to 745); Australian, 74s (725). There is also more inquiry for cheese. New Zealand,* white, 44s 6d (435); coloured, 43s 6d (42s 6d). Australian, none offering (coloured, 41s).
