RESTORATION OF CUTS
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April IP. An indication of better times is tins restoration of half of the 10 |>er cent, wages cut h.y one of the big mercantile firms in Christchurch. The cut was made two years ago. Improving business and general conditions have mad<% it possible for the firm to make the change, and over one hundred employees’ in Christchurch and in the firm's branches will benefit. This is the fourth firm that has restored the cut in Christchurch.
