LEGAL BETTING.
RACING IN NEW YORK STATE. ALBANY, April 17. New York State will 6oon have legal betting at horse races for the first % time in 25 years as the Legislature has passed a Bill to that effect in an effort to revive the sport. There has always been heavy bookmaking traffic which was more or less open, but
illegal.
