BULLER HOSPITAL.
REDUCTION IN GRADE. Per Press ■ Association. WESTPORT, April 17. Notification was received at a meeting of the Buller Hospital Board tonight that the hospital had been reduced to a B grade institution. Several members took strong exception to the regrading, mentioning that many highly qualified nurses had been trained m the Buller Hospital. Under the new grading, trainees are required to finish off the last. six months in an A grade institution at the B grade hospital’s expense. Members considered that the higher grades would benefit by cheap nursing from time to time and miglit do away with •ome of the usual staff.
