(From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, April 15. Practice games played on tlie bowling green on Saturday resulted as follow: Hillier, Dwyer (skip) 25 v. Ciouclier, Brown (skip) 16; Hoi-, land, Ingram, Ede (skip) 25 v. Pearce, Brown, Brookie (skip) 15; Brown, Crouchor (skip) 18 v. Hillier, Dwyer (skip) 17. During the week-end two rinks from the Palmerston North Bowling Club visited Bulls, and the visitors won on die aggregate by 8 points. Scores are as follow. Palmerston North ■ players mentioned first: — \Y. Oroucher, Simmons, Tapp, Anderson (skiji) 19 v. Dwyer, Price, Wilson, Stevens (skip) 18: Sehfoler, C'olqiiliotm. Frew, Sparrow (skip) 21 v. Ellery, Hillier, Caldow, J. Croueher (skip) 14.
Mr P. T’hoiby, one of the youngest members of B ll fin Defence Ritle Club, won the championship bell at Kimbolton on Saturday, and Bulls also won the teams match, their shooting being excellent all round.
Much interest is being token in Rugby at Ohakea, and upwards of thirty members indulge in practice on Saturdays. This season the Ohakea tennis will probably be strengthened by the inclusion of players from Sanson and Makowhai Camp, the Camp not. putting a team in the field this year.
