Per Press Association. WANGANUI, April 16. The Wanganui Fire Board to-day decided "that the time was opportune to commence a gradual restoration of the 10 per cent, cut in salaries. Accordingly. 2J per cent, of the deduction is to to he restored as from the commencement of the current financial year. The board also continued its policy of reducing the levy on the City Council and the combined insurance coinpanics, and both organisations will benefit by £6O per annum each. Last year the reduction made was £l2O per annum to each body.
