WAIKATO DISTRICTS. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, April 17. Light penetrating rain which set in last evening and continued overnight has considerably eased the situation throughout the Waikato. Since February rain in tho district has been negligible and farmers were feeling tlie strain on the winter fodder resources. The average rainfall for April in Hamilton over a number of years is 4.13 inches, but to date only .38 inches had fallen this month.
