BIBLE CLASS DEVELOPMENT. Per Press Association. NAPIER, April 16. The General Anglican Synod resumed its session to-day. Following a lengthy discussion, a motion originally including a provision to the effect that from January 1, 1936, General Synod should be responsible for £SOO per annum to assist the work of the Bible class unions, was redrafted. The motion eventually carried provided for an expression of appreciation of the development of tlie movement and requested the Archbishop to constitute a youth council of the Church of the Province of New Zealand to foster and develop the work of Bible class unions and all other youth movements in tlie Church.

Speakers on the original motion pointed out that Synod was not in a position to make itself responsible for £SOO for three years.
