PROFESSIONAL CYCLING.
Tlie following handicaps (for half, one mile, two and five mile events) have been declared by Mr W. Collins on behalf of the Cash Cycling Welfare League for the combined professional and amateur cycling carnival to bo held on the Showgrounds, Palmerston North, at 8 p.m. sharp, on Wednesday next. Further entries are expected from Taranaki, and those riders and any other competitor will be handicapped later. The track is in excellent condition and some good racing should he witnessed :—M.
