The Tasmanian innings ended before lunch for 345, compiled in 297 minutes. After 148 minutes Woodfull reached his century, and at 96 Brown was bowled. Ho hit seven fours. GOING TO ADELAIDE
LAUNCESTON, March 12. Tasmania’s outstanding batsman, Badcock, lias received an attractive offer to play for an Adelaide club next season, and lias decided to accept a transfer to that State. Some leading cricket writers are agitating for his inclusion in _ the lest team. They contend that his batting feats have justified his inclusion, and that he has been completely overlooked.

Received March 13, 9.0 a.m. CALCUTTA, March 12. At least four members of the Englisli cricket team, who have left India, are returning in the next cold weather for coaching engagements. They are Verity, Nichols, Mitchell, and James Langridge.
