PAHIATUA.
PAHIATUA, March 8. The very large and representative attendance from this and other districts at the funeral yesterday afternoon of the late Mr Andrew Pringle testified to the high esteem in which the deceased gentleman was held, lne pall-bearers were Messrs A. Smith (Wellington), \V. liobinson (Wanganui) D. MacKenzie (Dannevirke), l\. Gilbert (Woodville), H. Goodwin (Mangatainoka) and Captain S. Campbell (Pahiatua). The service at the residence was conducted by Rev. W. B. Pickering, assisted by Messrs A. D. Bauckham (Pahiauta) and H. Palleson (Hopelands) on behalf of the Brethren. Rev. Mr Pickering also officiated at the graveside. Court Pahiatua, A.0.F., was also represented. A large number of beautiful floral tributes were forwarded. Mrs W. Hall Watson is spending a holiday in Dunedin with her mother, Mrs Lavender. Mrs AVakeman, Auckland, is visiting her cousin, Mrs ,1. D. C. Crewe, Wakeman Street. Miss Nancy Robertson, of Riverton, has been visiting Mr and Mrs M. A. Robertson, Wakeman Street. Miss Enid Taylor and Miss Eunice Chatwin have returned from a fortnight’s holiday which they spent in motoring and camping through the Hawke’s Bay, Rotorua, Auckland and Taranaki districts.
