DORMAN-LONG FIRM.

REORGANISATION REFUSED. LONDON, Dec. 1. After a six-day hearing in the Chancery Court, Mr Justice Maughan refused petitions for the reorganisation of the Dorman-Long Company, involving a reduction of its capital of £ll,248,000 to £1,750,000, and amalgaihation with the South Durham Steel and Iron Company. . Subsequently Mr Justice Bennett in the Chancery Division granted a debenture-holder permission to apply for leave on December 8 to serve a motion to appoint a receiver for the Dorman-Long concern.
