PERSONAL.
The death has occurred at Ngaturi of Mr James Johnston Littlejohn, at the age of 77 years. The late Mr Littlejohn was born in Aberdeen South, Scotland, and at the age of 20 years came s to New Zealand, landing at Dunedin. After spending 15 years there he removed to Wanganui, where he was engaged in the drapery business until 1911. He then went to live at Waipawa, where he followed farming pusuits. He arrived in the Pahiatua district about 1921, and took over a farm at Kaitawa.
