IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOLS. Tlie Primary Schools’ Cricket Association’s competitions were cohtinued yesterday, when the following games were contested: —■’ SENIOR. At Terrace End Park, Terrace End 154 (J. Hardie 104 retired, H. Knight 10) bea.t Hokowhitu 42. Bowling for Terrace End Whitaker took 3 for 12, Hardie 2 for 13, Stewart 2 for 2, Hunter 3 for 2. Bowling for Hokowhitu Wills took 2 for 28 and Dalziel 3 for 40. Hardie’s 104 retired included five sixes and 11 fours. At the Sportsground, College Street 51 (Collis 20 retired, Andrews 21 retired) beat Central 41 (Rush 20). The bowling figures are not available. Convent School secured a win over West End, scoring 47 runs to the losers’ total of 35. JUNIOR. At Terrace End Park, Terrace End A 87 (Rowlands 34, Duncalf 22, Roots 11) beat Terrace End B 66 (Williams 34, Ellery 13, Cook 10). Bowling for the A’s, Arlidge took 4 for 17, Neilson 3 for 15, Smith 2 for 13; -and for the B’s Williams took 6 for 33 and Allen 3 for 3. At Milverton Park, College Street, two wickets for 30, beat Hokowhitu 23. There were no double figures in the batting. Bowling for College Street, Miles took 1 for 2, Sutherland 1 for 0, Fletcher 3 for 0 (this was the hat trick), Mullins 4 for 10 (including the hat trick). ■At North Street Park, Russell Street 44 (J. Rabone 17) beat Central 28. Bowling for Russell Street G. Rabone took 5 for 11, and for Central M. Dilks 7 for 10. On Wednesday last Central and Hokowhitu took the opportunity to play an outstanding match. Central 121 (Rush 28, Robson 23, Culpan 22) took the honours by 63 runs, Hokowhitu being dismissed for 58 (Wills 21, Dalziel 20).
