OBITUARY.

MRS C. N. WILLIAMSON. LONDON, Sept. 25. The novelist, Mrs Alice Muriel Williamson, widow of the late C. N. Williamson, who died in 1920, was found unconscious in an hotel at Bath. At tempts to revive her failed. She left a note for the coroner. Mrs Williamson, in collaboration with her husband, wrote a long series of novels, mostly dealing with motoring, which in. their day enjoyed a great vogue. These" included: “The Lightning Conductor,”: “The Car of Destiny,” “The Motor Chaperon,” “The Scarlet Runner,” “My Friend the Chauffeur.” She continued writing after her husband’s death.
