VISIT TO MANAWATU.

ENGLISH FARMERS’ REPRESENTATIVE. Advice has been received in Palmerston North that Mr Thomas Baxter, the representative of the National Farmers’ Union of England and Wales, who is visiting New Zealand to discuss the position regarding the dairy produce markets in the United Kingdom, will spend Friday in the Manawatu district. He will be accompanied by Mr W. A. lorns, chairman of the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board. Mr Baxter is at present spending two days in the Taranaki district. On Saturday he will confer with the Dairy Produce Board regarding export restriction proposals.
