PROMOTION TO CHRISTCHURCH. MR F. W. FURBY’S ADVANCEMENT. Tlie appointment of Mr F. W. Furby, Chief Postmaster at Palmerston North, to be Chief Postmaster at Christchurch, is announced in a Press Association telegram from Wellington. Mr Furby, it is stated, succeeds Mr F. J.
