GUARDED IN SANCTUARY. Professor Einstein, who is th© guest of Commander Lockcr-Lampson, M.P., at Cromer, England, is guarded by policemen and gamekeepers armed with rifles, says the News Chronicle. Professor Einstein says: “I only want peace. I was always guarded while in Belgium. It is a terrible strain and interferes with my work.” Commander Locker-Lampson is convinced that-Professor Einstein is really in danger. He says he carries an old service revolver to protect the professor,°who is working on a new mathematical theory.
