AFFAIRS IN IRAQ.

THE ASSYRIAN PROBLEM. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 23. The Iraq delegation to the League of Nations hopes to arrive at Geneva early next week in order to be present when the Assyrian question comes up for consideration in a few days’ time. Owing to the recent death of King Feisal it was impossible for the delegation to reach Geneva at an earlier date in the proceedings, and the League Council, after considering a request from tho Iraq Government yesterday, agreed to a short postponement. It is expected the question will come up for consideration on or about October 2.
