PILGRIMAGE TO ROME.
BRITISH UNEMPLOYED. Received September 25, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 24. A remarkable pilgrimage of 400 unemployed, drawn from all parts of Britain, is going to Rome to-morrow, accompanied by Father Martindale and twenty other priests. The spokesmen said they were hopeful of great results from an audience with the Pope, based on the idea that unemployment is a moral, as well as material, problem.
