THE AIR MAIL.

LONDON TO RANGOON. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Sept. 22. The first air mail from London to Rangoon will leave Croydon to-morrow and is scheduled to reach Burma on October 1. After flying oyer the existing Indian route, via Cairo, Bagdad and Karachi to Calcutta, the mails for Burma will be flown for the first time over the new 700-mile section via Akyab to Rangoon. The new section forms another link in Imperial Airways’ projected 10,000 miles England to Australia air mail route.
