BIG DEBTS UNPAID. THE NATIONS’ AMOUNTS. Received September 13, 10.35 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 12. The Treasury, in a statement, reports that the national debt at March 31 stood at £7,767,811,000. The following are some of the loans still owing to Britain : £ Russia 1,118,972,000
Turkey (for Crimean War assistance) .. 2,260,000 Egypt (for Alexandria indemnities) . 3,517,000
