FARMERS’ DEATH.
Per Press Association. NAPIER, Sept. 13,
The body of John Bennett, aged 27, a well-known sheepfarmers of the Eskdale district, was found -in a cottage on the Napier-Taupo Road, about eight miles from Bayview, this morning. He had shocking head injuries and a shotgun was lying across the body.
