MODEL AIRPLANE CLUB. . Over the week-end the Feilding Model Airplane Club held a contest with the Palmerston North Hornet Aero Club, the local boys winning with an aggregate flying time of 75mins. 49 1-osecs. against 54mins. 17 3-3 sec. hy the visitors! The individual times were as follow:

It is interesting to note that the flight achieved by the model ’plane sent aloft by A. Hobday some few months back has been acknowledged as a record by the New Zealand Model Aeroplane Association. Saunders Cup.-—A. M. Bush defeated G. Phillips. The medal match played by the Feilding Ladies’ Golf Club last week resulted in Mrs R. L. Harding, 86 — 11—75. winning the silver grade and Miss Ellerm, 104—28 —76, the bronze grade. RIFLE SHOOTING. The Cheltenham Rifle Club fired for ft club trophy on Saturday afternoon over the 500 and 600 yards ranges. The match resulted in a win for H. McFarlane, who counted out P. Churcher. Patterson, will preside while a welcome will be extended to the delegates by the Mayoress of Feilding, Mrs C. E. Taylor. The principal speaker will be Miss C. E. Kirk, of Wellington.
