The Palmerston North Citizens* Lunch Club to-day passed a resolution of condolence with Mr J. W. Deem, one of its members, in the sad loss he has sustained through the death of his son at Mt. Ruapehu during the weekend. TJl e many friends of Squadron-Lead-er M. C. McGregor, who received serious injuries when he met with an accident at the Milson Aerodrome towards the end of last year, will be pleased to learn that his progress has been so well maintained that he was able to undertake a short solo flight at the week-end. It is expected that he will soon be able to undertake his full flying activities.
