COLYTON.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) COLYTON, Sept. 11. Mr and Mrs Woodman entertained a number of young friends at their home on Thursday evening to celebrate the coming-of-ago of their son Hugh. A very pleasant time was spent with card games and dancing. Mr Hugh Woodman received the heartiest congratulations and good wishes from his many friends, and after he had placed the first cut in a handsome birthday cake, which had place of honour on the supper table, ho was presented with a largo golden key to which was attached a birthday book in which all the guests entered their names. Mrs Woodman received the guests. Sins wore a frock of pale green silk with coatee to match. Those present were: Mesdames Wells (Feilding) and D. Williamson, Misses N. Williamson, B. Williamson (Feilding), D. and G. Wells, Adsett, D. Foster; and Messrs H. B. Woodman, H. Woodman, D. Woodman, B. Benge, J. M., and G. Heap, L. Palmer, G., L. and M. Edhouse, B. Waugh and L. Welle.
