CHARGE OF MURDER.

TRAGEDY AT PAPATOETOE. AUCKLAND, Jan. 25. A charge that at Papatoetoe on January 17 he did murder Bertha May Bennett was brought against Thomas Francis Clark, aged 32, before Mr W. 11. McKean, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. Accused did not appear, DetectiveSergeant Martin stating that he was still an inmate of the Auckland Hospital. A further week’s remand was granted.
