SOCIAL GATHERING.

A fancy dress surprise party paid a visit to Mrs Harrison, at College House, North Street, on Saturday evening, to express their regret at her leaving Palmerston North, and to extend good wishes for the future. Games of bridge were followed by supper, after which Airs Harrison was presented with tokens of friendship. It was a happy party and the time went all too quickly. Those present were Mrs Gowing, Misses P. and C. Henderson, Air and Airs Aliller. Air and Airs Alaitland. Air and Airs Jacques, Airs Liffert-on and Miss Fowler.
