THE CONCLUDING STAGES. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 15. In a statement regarding the No. 10 scheme of subsidised building the acting Minister of Employment, Hon. A. Hamilton, stated that following strong representations the Unemployment Board in an enlargement of its previous intentions has now decided that the subsidy bo paid on registered unemployed labour engaged on ail works approved in respect of applications lodged on or before December 31, 1932, irrespective of whether such labour was engaged prior to or after that date, but applications lodged after December 31 under this scheme will not be considered on work extending beyond June 30, 1933. However, the subsidy will be reduced by 50 per cent, after that date.
