SHIPMENTS ARRANGED. WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. Following the recent announcement by the Minister of Industries and Commerce, Hon. R. Masters, that the Government intended to import 350,000 bushels of milling wheu. to assist local millers through next season, owing to tire shortage of Dominion supplies, three shipments, totalling nearly 10,000 tons, are being arranged for. The first cargo of about 4180 tons will be lifted at Sydney, by the steamer Kairanga. This will be for Auckland, where the millers are very short of wheat, and where they need the additional supplies to enable them to continue operations next season. A small shipment- of about 540 tons will be brought to Wellington from Sydney by the Zcalandia next week. The third shipment of about 4200 tons will be brought from Geelong next month.
